Waitin' 'til the week is over
Heaven is in sight
Yeah, I know that you've been feelin' me, I know you want a piece of me
So I'll be yours and you'll be mine

No one seems to realize the spark that's in your eyes
Girl, I know that you've been feelin' me, so why are you afraid to be
The one that's on my mind?

And I know, and I know, and I know

And I can't wait to see our love go up through the roof
And I can't wait to dance all night right under the moon
And no one else is makin' me feel the way that you do
Now don't be shy, I feel alive

I can't wait for the weekend, I
I been searchin' for the light
But with you, it feels so right
Our bodies intertwined

I can't wait for the weekend, I
I been searchin' for the light
But with you, it feels so right
Our bodies intertwined

I can't wait for the weekend

I can feel we're stardust-bound
Your heart is what I'll find (You know what I'll find)
Maybe all of this is meant to be, so I can come and set you free
The wrongs will turn to rights

Love the way we talk
When we say not a word at all
I got a desperate hunger for you, babe, one touch and I levitate
Just put me up against the wall

And I know, and I know, and I know

And I can't wait to see our love go up through the roof
And I can't wait to dance all night right under the moon
And no one else is makin' me feel the way that you do
Now don't be shy, I feel alive

I can't for the weekend, I
I been searchin' for the light
But with you, it feels so right
Our bodies intertwined

I can't wait for the weekend, I
I been searchin' for the light
But with you, it feels so right
Our bodies intertwined

I can't wait for the weekend
